Versa Lite is not keeping accurate steps and I’ve tried uninstalling, restarting and fixing steps.. I’m ready to throw it in the trash.

What do you mean by not tracking steps?
Do they count while walking? Are your hands empty and swinging naturally?
Or do you find that the unit is counting steps not taken.

If I take ten steps, it says I took 6.. yesterday the family went hiking. We took the challenge trail which was 6.8 miles. My tracker showed we only went 5.42 while my husband tracked 6.7.. it’s tracking under what I normally take.

But which one is correct. Have you taken a 100- 200 step walk counting them in your head, then compared?
When it comes to distance, Fitbit depends on the user having an accurate stride setting.

Husband’s was correct. Both are measured automatically using the Fitbit (height and weight).. yes I did the step challenge and it was short. Only one day it counted flights and it hasn’t since that day??

What was the result of a 100 or 200 step count test?

82/100 for the step count

And for 200, 300, maybe even 500? Is it the few missed when starting a walk or do the steps decrease throughout

It’s missing more than just a few. I’m going to see about exchanging it. I woke up with a burn on my wrist from the watch.
