Versa Lite stopped working after swimming

Hi. I am on vacation in Maui. I never wear my fitbit in the shower or get to wet. Today I was in the pool and forgot to remove it.  I wasn't in for that long and I was lounging rather rtjna doing laps. My fitbit Versa Lite now won't work at all. I drove dit and stuck it in charger. The fitbit logo appeared and the green light appeared on the back but now nothing. It's black and won't do anything at all. How do I fix this??

Hi there, @Danyf. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for sharing the details about the issue with your Versa Lite. 

I'd recommend restarting your watch by following these steps How do I restart my Fitbit device?

If the restart doesn't work, let's move forward with the steps below:

  • Clean the charging contacts on the back of your device and the pins on your charging cable using the instructions in How do I clean my Fitbit device?
  • If the error "insufficient power source" appears on your device's screen, remove other devices plugged in to your power source, or plug your device in to another source.
  • Try a different USB port or a UL-certified wall charger.
  • Check the alignment and try reconnecting your device to the charging cable. For more information, see How do I charge my Fitbit device?
  • Restart your Fitbit once again.
