My Versa Lite touchscreen stopped working. Others said to factory reset it. 24 hours later still nothing... as in update is just spinning and still without my Fitbit and technology my phone.

I've had this same problem for several months with my 15-month-old Versa. I've done multiple factory resets with no success. I was considering just buying a new one, but instead changed to a watch face that showed all my stats without having to swipe.
Then, last night, the battery drained completely (unexpectedly; I usually don't let the battery fully drain). I then fully charged it this morning, synced it with my phone, and guess what? The touch screen works again.
