Versa Lite went blank

My versa lite went completely black today.  I had just charged it, but recharged it today at lunch.  Now all the writing is very faint, almost translucent.  I tried resynching with my iphone, but all the letters and numbers are almost translucent.  Any ideas?  Thanks!

Hi @LYN_CAST, welcome to our Fitbit Community. I'd like to follow up and help you with your Versa Lite since the screen went blank. I totally understand how you feel about this and I appreciate the time spent trying to get this issue resolved before contacting our forums.

 

I'd like you to try a factory reset. To do so on your device, follow the steps below:

 

  1. Hold the back button for about 8 seconds. 
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears:
  • Release the button briefly (for less than 2 seconds). 
  • Hold the button again until they feel a second, longer vibration, which indicates they initiated the factory reset. 

Finally, try the setup process one more time and see if the issue gets fixed.

Hi, I did try the reset last night.  It didn't seem to make any difference.  The numbers/letters are still translucent and the battery that was fully charged by 11pm last night went dead by 8am this morning. Is there anything I can do to hold the charge longer than a few hours?  Can this be fixed?  Thank you.
