My Versa Lite, I got for Christmas 2019 will no longer swipe so I can see my updates such as steps, short cuts, etc, all I see is time! Very frustrating for something I just got as a present!

First thing to try when a fitbit misbehaves is a restart by pressing and holding the button for 10 seconds.
It does no harm and can sort out all sorts of issues.
