Versa won’t turn on 😡

My Fit Bit Versa was replaced in November due to battery issues but now the new one has turned itself off at 71% charge. Never wet nor dropped it has always had a protector on it but it won’t turn back on. I’m very frustrated with this product please help

Try a Restart and do it several times if necessary.

My Versa will not turn on! At all worked fine till 11:07 pm last night. It
has always been in a protector never been dropped or mistreated. This is
the replacement for my first Versa that didn’t even last 10 months due to
battery issues. The face of this one is totally black. No matter what I do
it’s not restarting. It died at 71% battery. Is there an issue with this
product line. I am so frustrated with this product right now.

I am having that same issue and have had mine longer.  This product is so inferior.

Talking with fit bit it is a glitch. They can deal with replacing it in the
1st year . After that you should contact the extended warranty for help. I
was offered 50% on upgrade or I could get the same model replacement free
of charge.

the restart seems to have worked for my device 🤞

It is not even recognized by my phone. Nothing I do restarts it. Fit bit walked me through it and nothing. It just has a black screen. My phone said that it still had a 71% charge when it died.

Use your extended warranty. My Neighbor is having the same issue. It looks like more than just a few fit bit versa’s may be having this problem. Good luck

Just had the exact same issue.  Screen is black, won't recharge, and my phone can't sync with it.  Almost like a Y2K-type bug.  I've had mine for 1.5 yrs and it's worked fine.  Suddenly died last night.

I troubleshooted mines and now it won't power back on!! I only troubleshoot because it wouldn't  update. Now I regret restating it.

Got mine Christmas 2018 battery started to have issues October 2019 they replaced it with this one and now I have this issue. So disappointed with this product

Just talked to support.  I had already tried everything, strange how it happened so suddenly.  From what I am seeing on the Forums boards, I think they have a bug they haven't figured out yet.  They told me I will have to buy new one for a slight discount....

What’s the discount they are offering? I hate when I company send a faulty update out and then requires the customers to get new products. Might go ahead and upgrade to the Apple. UGH!! I got mine for Christmas in 2018 so I doubt they will cover it since it’s been over a year.

Woke up this morning and my Versa is black screened. I'm looking for a customer service number and I keep going in circles here. How were you able to talk to customer service??

UPDATE!

After many attempts to power on, I held all 3 buttons and it powered on!! Maybe I was supposed to do that all along?? Old ones were just the left button.

Talked in Tweeter DM and email but not by phone. Support put in a ticket on my behalf. I agree with you....thinking there's a bug causing the black screens/not working. I did the same as you when looking for problem and surprised when I saw soooo many having the same problem from all over!
