I love the fit of my new Versa! I have used both the Blaze and the Charge HR over the last 4 years and been extremely happy. However, I feel my Versa counts way more steps and shows way less miles then other fitbits I have used. I have already checked my Advanced Settings (making sure it is set to miles, checked the stride length, etc.). Any other users having the same issue???

Not just the versa did that..
i had a charge 2 that did the same thing..
the problem with the riding a motorcycle. .is on top of the vibration and the movement to break or clutch depending on the arm you wear it.. plus the air pressure the watch is taking
last year. .i put my charge 2 in my pocket and did the same ride. that gave me a lot of extra floor and i had none.. cause it did not get the wind pressure..
i am not sure that is a flaw on the watch.. i think it is just the way it works for the floors..
My wife had the Alta HR and she does get a few extra steps.. but nowhere close as me.. and obviouisly no floors
My Galaxy Gear S2 never counted steps while I rode my motorcycle. Versa just got me to 10,000 steps after 2 hours of mountain biking, sad!
I went through 2 Versas before settling on my Samsung sports gear and Im glad i did. I do agree that the Samsung sports gear is more accurate in steps and distance. It’s also less buggy and runs smoother. I’ve never had issues with it so far. Although Fitbit does do a better job with the sleep stats and showing how many steps were taken while exercising. Also the floor counts on the Samsung is not accurate which was similar to the Versa anyway.
Best AnswerI just upgraded from Surge to Versa - been a week, I havent noticed extra steps or anything like that - having said that technology always has glitches.
Best AnswerI had the exact same issue, the only place I walked last night when I got my Fitbit was out of bed to the bathroom. Yet somehow I walked 600 something steps and burned a heck ton of calories
Best AnswerJust got a versa and mine is doing the dame thing. Its countung steps and floors I didnt climb
Best AnswerI did the same exact thing. Just upgraded from my One, which truly I love, to a Versa, due to a great holiday price. But oddly my Versa did not register the set of steps I just used and my One did. Plus my Versa is showing less steps than my One. I'm so disappointed and debating on whether to just return it. It's bad enough that I always show less steps compared to all my friends, because my strides are longer, but I sure don't want my new device registering even less, for when I'm participating in challenges for work rewards. Does Fitbit respond to any of these blogs with suggestions or ideas?

Best AnswerI'm a bit surprised this is still an issue. My flex was never this far off on my steps. I'm getting like 2k extra steps a day compared to the flex. While I'd like to pretend it's cause I'm more active, I'm not. Disappointing to say the least.
Sounds like each Fitbit device has its flaws. Still debating if I should return it and just stick with my One, which I've lost numerous times, but always end up finding it. Maybe that's my sign to just stick with it.
Best AnswerI had the very same issue with my Ionic! I sat mibeon my desk and it clocked up 2000 steps sitting doing nothing! 🤣🤣 I contacted support sent them videos and pictures they replaced it! In one morning just getting out if if ved at 6am walking to the bathroom I had cloaked up 9000 steps! Silly really only a short walk! At the end of the day I had done 103,000 steps I sit quite a bit too and there was no shopping after work either!🤣🤣🤣🤔🤣🤣
