Versa Not Responsive

I got my Versa as a gift a few months ago so I haven't had it very long.  I charged it today and after putting it on the screen shut off and I can't get it to turn back on.  I have tried restarting it, and the factory reset but it is unresponsive.  At this point, I don't know what else I can do.

I'm having the same problem. And from what I'm seeing on this forum, so are quite a few others. Would be great if someone from the company would provide some answers.

Hey there, @hairau10! Welcome to the Family! Great to see you again @NellyG and @Kay_lou. Thanks for sharing your feedback, I'll be glad to give you a hand with this.

Thanks for restarting your Versa. Each scenario is different but let's try a couple of steps that might help to bring it back to life.

How old is your Fitbit? I'd suggest to clean the contacts of your Versa. These contacts can become obstructed with the time by microscopic dirt or debris that prevents them from making a good connection to the charger. Use a toothpick or toothbrush to clean the charging contacts, do not scrape them with anything metal because this may damage the plating and result in corrosion.

Please try to restart your it again. How are you changing your Fitbit? We recommend plugging your charging cable into a USB port on your computer or other low-energy device. If necessary, you can use a UL-certified USB wall charger. Don't use a USB hub or battery pack to charge, and only use the charging cable that came with your tracker. Did you have issues before with the charging cable?

Please take a look of these recommendations to charge your Fitbit too. If that doesn't help I can give you a hand to reach out our support team, so they can check what happened with your devices.

Let's give it a try and please keep me posted.

My Versa is about 8 months old.  I'm charging it with phone charger. My phone shows my watch is at 64%.When I press the left button I can feel it vibrate but the screen remains blank. I can press the right side light button and the light comes on, but the screen remains blank.Sent from my Sprint Samsung Galaxy S8.

I purchased the versa for my sister for her birthday sbout 9 months ago and she recently told me that hers stopped working as well about 2 months ago.

I have worked through the troubleshooting steps and, since i have the same kind of fitbit, i have tried my charger as well.  It has been reset, but we cant do anything more, because once its off the charger, it dies.

My Versa is doing exact same thing as others that have replied. I tried to restart many times. I see a faint light and feel a vibration, but that’s all. Back of Watch gets pretty hot to the touch when I try to restart. My apps shows that it is 100% charged. Your suggestions above were no help. What next?

I charged my versa last night. At 5 am the alarm did go off, but the screen was still blank. I decided to wear my watch to see if would still track my steps, hr, etc even though the screen was blank. It died in less than an hour.

I finally gave up and called customer support. I told them I either want a new watch or my  money back. Fitbit claims they are sending me an email with instructions for an exchange. We'll see if this happens.

Called customer service last week and I have already received my replacement Fitbit with no issues. I have no complaints about their customer service except that they apparently only respond to calls, not emails. I’m Happy with the outcome!
