Versa Run app shuts down randomly when using Run app.

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Versa is less than three months old and the Run app during hiking or run will shut down randomly without any notification and have to start again and lose the previous data. so far 3/5 times.

Tech support suggested to restart versa and try, same results, still shuts down. Now they suggest resetting the versa to factory default and try again

Does anyone have this issue?

thanks

Hi, resetting once does not usually do the trick. Restart your Versa 4-5 times in a row by pressing the left and right lower buttons together untill you see the Fitbit logo and release the buttons. Hope this solves your problem.

seems odd. Anyway, I shut down 5 times now in a row. I will try it out this weekend. As I mentioned it happens randomly so it will be sometime before I confirm your solution worked.

thanks a lot.

Appreciate the help.

Here is the updates: just hiked Grand Canyon and used versa. restarted before hike. turn the run app with GPS on sync with iPhone and all is well. somewhere sometime it crashed and now I only have last two miles of the record.

I lost all the data which I was so looking forward with the well-planned trip. My All trails kept its data.

What a disappointment. I now hate this product. I and my family members have been using Fitbit for years. Charge before this.

I won't be using this anymore on a hike or run as I cannot trust it.
