Versa Screen Sensitivity

Hiya,

From today my Fitbit versa wont swipe on the screen. This includes left, right and up and down.

I have seen on other forums this has happened several people.

I have reset several times using the three buttons , I then gave up and set it back to factory settings and completely reinstalled the watch to the app which didn't make any difference so I then tried restart again several times and still no joy. I had the bit emoji clock face and removed it too so I am back to a standard Fitbit Face.

Did anybody try anything else that had actually worked? I am pulling my hair out to fix it as even getting to the settings on the actual watch is enough to make me want to throw it at the wall.

TIA

Hannah

Hi, does it work now going back to a Fitbit Clock Face? If not, restart your Versa 4-6 times in a row by  pressing and holding the left and lower right buttons untill you see after each restart the Fitbit logo and release the buttons. I always advice to stay away form the Bitmoji Clock Face, cause it not only gives a lot of problems but also drains your battery like hell.

Hiya,

No the steps and advice previously given hasn't helped me any and the screen still has major issues.

The resetting of the clock face hasn't improved the issue either.

Any advice would be fabulous!

No it is not repairable.

I contacted Fitbit support through email and they sent me a replacement
which also had battery problems and wouldn't stay charged and they had to
send me another 2nd replacement.

No issues now as I have new pebble but all they suggest is several reboots
and if they don't work it wont fix itself. I would save yourself the hassle
and just get in contact directly with Fitbit.

I rang them eventually as it gets solved far quicker than having to receive
and reply to all the responses from Fitbit. Within 10min phone call with
them my 2nd replacement was in the post. 😊

Hi, I have the same issue. Please help! I have reset several times but it makes no difference. I also changed the clock face which did nothing either.

Hi @Yamsy, thank you for joining us in this thread and our Fitbit Community. Since you mentioned that your Fitbit Versa's touchscreen won't swipe either, I appreciate the time spent trying to get this issue resolved before contacting our forums.

I'd like you to try a factory reset. To do so on your device, follow the steps below:

  1. On the device, hold all three buttons for about 10 to 12 seconds.
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears, quickly release the bottom right button, continuing to hold down the left and top right buttons (releasing the bottom right button as soon as the logo disappears is time sensitive).
  3. When the device vibrates, release all buttons.
  4. Wait for approximately 1-2 minutes while the device clears all data. Eventually, the Fitbit logo appears and the device boots and displays Fitbit.com/setup.
  5. Set up your Versa from scratch and see if the touchscreen and see if it works properly

Keep me posted on the outcome.
