So i waited on a fitbit versa on back order a year ago. My wife loved it, that is until she took it for her first swim a year later and now out of warranty and i come to find it is an issue with a lot of versa watches. They offered me 25% off to buy a new one, and frankly, even after selling fitbits for a while, when i worked at a sporting good store, this will be my last fitbit product. A known issue with your product and you get out of it because the warranty, well player fitbit. We will not be back.

I appreciate your reply. I understand fitbit has an out with the limited warranty but, there is an issue with the product. Im only one consumer but i can’t say i will be a return customer. Had it been an isolated issue, or our fault, i would have never posted anything. There is a misleading advertisement of water and swimming with this product. People need to be informed especially if fitbit won’t acknowledge it as an ongoing issue. Theres no need to reply, i get the same answer each time. But if someone comes across this thread i hope they make informed decisions. 200$ is a lot of money and the 25% off a new versa i was offered is a few bucks after taxes. It sucks. I guess if anyone reads this buy the extended warranty. But see what it covers first.
