I just recently bought a Fitbit Versa for my wife and I, however I am having trouble having my weather app automatically update the weather. In order for my Fitbit to display the current weather for either my current location or one of the saved cities I have to open my Fitbit app and sync my device. Now I have the Accuweather app on my phone, always using my location, and a widget for it pulled up to keep it updating. I also have my Fitbit set to all day sync and always use my location. Will I always have to sync my Fitbit on Mubarak phone to receive current weather or is there a way for it to automatically update?

@CYoung1606 It's great to see that you've visited the Fitbit Community! Sorry to hear that your weather information isn't updating automatically. Try selecting the Keep widget alive option on your Versa settings. This will help update said app. Also refresh the link between your phone and your Versa by going to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there. Restart your phone and restart your device. After this try syncing them. Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on. Finally make sure that the Fitbit app is running in the background so it is managing the syncing with your Versa.
Let me know how it goes!
