My 1.5 year old Versa won’t charge. Watch stays at 0%. I noticed one of the charging gold dots on the back of the watch face is now black. I’m assuming this may be the issue. Changing USB, etc does not solve the issue. Has anyone had a gold dot go black (almost like it burnt out)?

This covers problems with the charging pins.
If it doesn't help then, as it says at the end of the guide, it's probably best to contact customer support.
