Versa apps error

I got a new Versa limited and it syncs with my phone just fine. It will update my steps, heart rate, etc. but when I try to go to the apps on the watch all it will say is syn with your phone even though it is synced with my phone and I cant access any of the apps. Using Motorola Z2 phone.
