my fitbit's battery is draining really fast and the warranty is really close to a year. I'd like to get this resolved as quickly as possible.

I'm experimenting the same problem, and my watch has only 16 months. Am I eligible for a replacement?

Don't bother contacting Fitbit. They will have you do a battery test which will probably prove its a bad battery but they won't replace it if you're outside the warranty. They were more than happy to waste my time though.

Ok Juan Jo
The battery is lasting only for one day.
I´ll like to know if its possible to change the battery, because it seems
that its lifetime is finishing ( after only 16 months ).
Thanks for your answer

@Osampaio thank you for getting back and trying the recommended troubleshooting steps.
Regarding your inquiry, I'm afraid that the battery is built-in and cannot be replaced. However, since the battery issue persists, I'll send your case to our Support team so they can investigate further and provide a solution. You will receive an email from them soon.
Let me know if you have any questions.

2 days after I call fitbit my versa is done. Screen dimmed and pixalated and died in less than 24 hours. Gonna have to search for a new non-Fitbit smart watch to meet my needs

@Krnbake thank you for joining us in this thread and our Fitbit Community. Since your Versa's battery is also experiencing battery draining issues, I'd like you to try the tips listed in this help page. After this, monitor your Versa and see if the battery lasts longer. Keep me posted.
Your feedback is greatly appreciated @SunsetRunner.

I tried all of the tips and nothing has really worked. It drains after one day. Which is crappy because I have Bluetooth off all of the time and limit most of what it is actually capable of.

Hi they replied via email but now I can't find that email to reply to them. For example I charged to :hundred_points: yesterday morning and it is nowa 12% without any syncing or Bluetooth or any exercise use. If i had any of that it would be fine already.

My wife's Versa started draining battery and constantly restarting within a day or two of the latest update (to give sleep score). Only 15 months old and had no problems until the update. Tried all the fixes and they would work for 4 to 8 hours at a time. Of course out of the 'one year limited warranty' so naturally we were offered the 25% discount off a new unit or 40% off the Versa lite - which has less options!!??? Hope you have better luck.

I have to charge my device at least 3 times a day just to have enough battery. I tried troubleshooting and I do everything they suggest to save battery life. The battery is useless these day.
I understand battery life declines with time. But I need a reliable device to track all my activities. If Fitbit can't accommodate me with a new device I should buy a new one. My concern is just that the public is very disappointed with Versa 3, so I don't want to buy it.
Should I buy a Garmin watch to meet my needs?

Thanks for the reply.
So I got the Versa 3 yesterday. But I'm very disappointed since it seems like I can't use it. It keeps showing I have to download the Fitbit app even after someone from Fitbit confirmed they can see my Versa 3 is synced with my account.
I just threw away a lot of money...

Same thing here. Mine is 15 months old and a couple of days ago the battery started to drain much faster than it ever has. Reached out to customer support and only resolution was to provide a 35% discount to buy a new unit. Why the hell would anyone want to buy another FitBit if they have to replace it year after year?
Time for a Garmin.
