My screen is not working, everything else is like the vibrations and that little green light at the back. But the screen doesn’t do anything when I touch it or when I touch a button. Even when I charge it it doesn’t react does anybody know what to do?

Do they replace it for free?

If you are under the year warranty, they will replace it for free (usually 1 year). I was slightly outside the year. So instead of recognizing they made a product that was largely failing after a year, they gave me a hard time for months, refusing to replace, repair or give any real discount towards a new one. After their rude responses back and forth for a while, I opted to buy a Samsung Watch as my many years of Fitbit support did not seem to matter and their unkind responses were wearing on me.
The Samsung watch is AMAZING! I had no idea a watch could do so many things lol. So glad I made the switch, I never would have if their customer service was good - so silver lining? 🙂

Yeah, the discount they gave me was decent except it was only good for 30 days and the sale at the time was better than the discount they offered. I have been looking to get a Samsung so your response made me feel better about my decision!

Mine has stopped working too. Everything works but the screen in my fitbit. I have tried to contact customer support but no joy.
I bought it in the UK and now I am travelling in Australia.
I used to love my Fitbit.

I can't believe how crappy this smartwatch has been for me. Buying a different brand right away.
I had mine for a year and a half, couldn't use it as smartwatch for months, and now my screen has went blank as well.
I mean ridiculous
DON'T BUY FITBIT
can't stress this enough...

Bought my Fitbit Versa in December 2018 and I have been very happy with it until recently... for the last several days it has not holding a charge over about 7 hours... no changes to settings that had been working fine for over a year. Now, the screen is completely blank after full charging. According to the App, the phone is synching and fully charged. I receive notification vibrations but completely blank screen. I have tried restarting it several times but does not appear to respond. I can't find a support phone number... tried the twitter contact but no response for hour now; not sure anyone is even manning their twitter support. I don't really understand why support cannot be executed in isolation with today's work from home capabilities but anyway, looks like there is no way to contact support... hello out there... does anyone have a support phone number that is operational?

My screen has been black on minefor a WHILE! I got my first fitbit for Xmas 2017. I went on a river float summer 2018 and it went capoot. I was given a replacement from Fitbit about a month later, but a month after I got it, the screen went black. I was pregnant at the time and just couldn't deal with it. Now that my baby is a little older, I want to get back walking and running again, but I don't have a working fitbit. Grrrr! Suck a waste of $200+ for a few months of use!

I am on my 4th Versa in 16 mos. The current versa has black screened again. Every Versa I have had has done this exact thing. It has been replaced in the past, but fitbit will not replace it because I am out of warranty with the original purchase. I will not be purchasing another one.

Update to earlier post: I finally corresponded with support over several days and there was no way to resolve my problem other than purchasing a new watch at a 25% discount... which I did because I have really been happy with my watch until it started the blank screen thing. I assume that I have a year warranty on this replacement since I purchased it but perhaps I should check that out... Does anyone know of an alternative with comparable features and price? I have been using fitbit products for several years and have quite a history of data that I am reluctant to abandon.

I am having this same problem for the first time today- did anything solve it or did you have to call to report it to them?

I must admit I contacted the customer service email and there was a bit of have you tried this and tried that but once it was established that I had already tried everything they replaced my fitbit. It came when they said it would and I could track it too. This bit was really good and now back to wearing my Fitbit daily. Ta

My partner's Fitbit Versa (purchased Oct 2018) has had this issue for more than a month. And over time, more problems appear to be piling on---not only is the screen not functional but the battery appears to be draining rapidly (100% to 0% in less than 24 hours).
No amount of rebooting (via Long Pressing Left and Bottom Right buttons for >10s) has helped.
We have also tried changing the clock face in case it is a bug with the specific face were using.
