Versa black screen

I'm not sure if my Fitbit Versa is even working since update of firmware.  Not seeing anything on my screen.  Can not see it as discoverable on bluetooth for my Windows 10 computer, nor my Samsung Galaxy S7.  Not sure what is going on with it.  I have tried holding the buttons to do a factory reset too, but not having anything on the watch face, I'm lost.

I first noticed that it seemed to be running slow on the clock, and was why I decided to update firmware when it said there was an update.  I now have no idea what it is doing.  Anyone else with issues like this, and how to resolve the issues.

Not sure how to contact Customer Support, but kindly depressed as I just got this for Christmas and seems to have died from a update from Fitbit.

Thanks in advance.

@MikeMedic it's great to see you in our Fitbit Community! I'm happy to assist you with your Fitbit Versa since its screen won't turn on even though you have restarted it.

I would like to know if your Versa vibrates when you put in in the charger. In addition, I'd like you to try the troubleshooting steps that are listed in this help article. This article contains the restart process but you can skip it and proceed with the rest. Finally, charge your watch for 2-3 hours and see if it comes back to life.

@JuanJoFitbit I have now left it on the charger for 24 hours while I had to go work on my work shift as a paramedic.  It still does not seem to come on. It was fully charged when I downloaded the update firmware.  Then when it went to install, I noticed green bars running vertically, not knowing how it should look when it was updating I figured it was normal.  Next thing I knew the screen went black like it was restarting, only it has never restarted yet.  None of the lights come on, on the back of the watch now either, but they were working before the download of the update.  Not sure if Fitbit may have a bug in the update that is discharging the batteries and making the Fitbit's worthless at that point.  Thinking the charging port may have been an issue, I tried plugging the USB into my computer but that has been no help either.  Also noticed that the watch would not stay synced and was sometime undiscoverable on the bluetooth, and was being like a 1/2 hour off prior to the update too.  Not sure how a digital watch could lose time.  I had got this for Christmas and it seemed good when I got it, but all of the sudden it has developed into what you are hearing.

I think there may be an issue in the update as I am seeing a large amount of posts of people having black screen issues.  Can't imagine that so many battery issues could all be happening at the same time.  Unfortunately the article did not help.

Keep me posted on anything you can find on the issue.
