Versa blank screen

My Versa is nearly 4 years old.  The screen lights up dark (real dark blue) with no icons visible (on images at all), vibrates when tapped or buttons pushed, records steps on phone.  There is just nothing on the blank screen.  Tried multiple times to reset it to factory specs even tried to disconnect and reconnect, but no image so no numbers appear on the screen.  Is it past it's life?
