Versa breaking apart

This was my birthday gift from my husband.  I workout 5 times a week so the versa was my gadget of choice because of its HR capability.  Low and behold in its 2 month mark, the HR acted up and recorded peak heart rates and cardio rates all day and night long.  How can I even burn 4000 calories on a non workout day? Go figure.

 

So I reset my fitbit more than 10 times and that seems to work for a couple of hours.  And then I notices lines started to appear in my screen.  I then proceeded to restore factory settings , as mentioned in a lot of the forum topics, but now its completely broken.  The screen is flashing and a part of the screen is missing.  Help I want to return this, biggest regret ever.  Should have gone with the Apple watch instead
