Versa can not set up

I have a Fitbit Versa worked fine till I reset it to give to a family member. Since after the reset it connects fine to a device till the 4 digit number after that it says something went wrong been working on this problem for days. Tried deleting my account that didn't do it so please need help.

Please let me know what is the brand and model of the phone that is being used to set up the Versa with.

 

In the meantime, please have your family member to make sure that is following the setup instructions that are listed in this help article.
