Hi everyone. 👋

I got this Versa in December of 2018 and began using it in January 2019. For the first about 10 or 11 months, it was working like a dream. Lately, the battery has been running out outrageously quick and it takes hours, and I mean HOURS, to charge. I contacted a Fitbit representative and they told me how to fix a previous problem about charging which was it wouldn't charge for a few days after it died completely. It helped with this problem, but now I have to wait a few hours to charge it and it will probably run out of battery by tomorrow. If any of you guys can help me, please leave a reply. Also, if anyone else has experienced this please let me know so I can understand that it isn't just me.

I purchased my Versa May 31, 2019.  It has worked pretty well for the most part.  It will occasionally start losing time but a few hard reboots will help.  My issue isn't exactly the same as yours but battery related.  I charged my fitbit Sunday night and Monday morning I used it to track my workout from 6-7 am by 8:30 am my ftibit was completely unresponsive.  When I returned home I plugged it back into the charger and I received the red battery outline with 0% shortly after, maybe 3-4 min, I heard it vibrate and looked to find the fitbit logo on the screen and 100% charge.  Removed the fitbit from the charger and immediately it was a black unresponsive screen again.  I have tried my charger, my husband charger in multiple wall adapters, I have also tried PC USB and nothing changes the outcome.

I chatted with "support" this morning and their only suggestions were all the things I have already tried.  Then the rep said they would review my warranty and email me with options.  My fitbit is 4 months out of warranty s their solution is to have me buy a new one at a 35% discount.  NOT an acceptable resolution in my opinion.  I spent $200 on a watch I expect it to last longer than 16 months.  I will definitely not be investing anymore of my money into a company that can't stand behind their products or find a solution for what I've seen is a commonly known issue.

I did read a couple of other forums where a person bought a knock off charger for $10 from Amazon and the watch then started charging again.  I might try that before I give up all together.  Now that I'm 2 generations behind I wonder if new updates intentionally crash older devices to try to force us to spend more money?
