A couple of years ago I purchased a Versa and was not impressed with the charging station as it did not lie flat. Really thought the design engineers really screwed up.This year I bought my wife a Versa 2, nice watch and thought that the design engineers would have improved the charging station! But oh no, I think they have actually made it worse!

I agree, the design of the charger is pretty poor. Apparently it's supposed to sit on it's side. So instead of the screen pointing up towards the ceiling (with the cable coming out of the bottom), it should be laying on the side pointing towards the wall (with the cable coming out of the back). I don't agree with this being something users asked for though, in fact this is a pretty common complaint amongst users.
Best AnswerThis was a decision made by Fitbit based on what users asked for. Sorry but it seems the louder squeak gets the attention of the developers. People want to see the display while the tracker is on its charger.
My thought is that when the tracker is on its charger for 60 - 90 minutes every 72 to 100 hours this really is not much of a concern.
