Versa clock screen flashes constantly

Purchased new 7 months ago, don't wear daily.  After charging from dead the clock screen flashes constantly, I tried the solutions offered on this site but they haven't helped.

@JimCobb welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm happy to assist you with your Fitbit Versa since the display flashes constantly. Thank you for trying the recommended troubleshooting steps before contacting our forums.

 

In order to avoid providing the same information and assist you accordingly, I'd like to know what troubleshooting steps you tried.

 

In the meantime, please restart your Versa as described in this help article. After this, change the clock face to one developed by Fitbit, not a third party clock face and see if the issue gets fixed.
