Versa coating wear

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have owned my Versa for less that 3 months a despite looking after it it is showing signs of wear. Where the glass meets the aluminium frame the coating is wearing off( it's hardly visible but it is there and you would have thought that the coating would be stronger). Having had a live chat session with Fitbit they deemed it not to be a fault that is covered by the warranty. I was very kindly offered a replacement band as a good will gesture despite it not being faulty. This has not solved the problem. I would be interested to see if anyone else has had similar issues with their Versa.

@VaughanHP Welcome! It's nice to have you on board!

Thank you for your feedback about the Versa coating. Also thank you for taking the time to share the pictures. The Support team does follow the Warranty guidelines so you may want to check them here.

Let me know how it goes.

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately the warranty t&cs don't make any sense and I don't know how long the coating is supposed to last more than a few months I would have expected  You would have thought that Fitbit would have tested the coating before releasing the Versa  I can only guess that the coating will continue to wear over time and fitbit think that this is acceptable!
