I'm sorry to hear you are having a display problem. You say you've already trying turning it off and on, have you also tried doing a restart? If not, I'd give that a try a couple of times. If you need instructions you can find them HERE.
If that doesn't do the trick, then the next option is a factory reset.

Only from your Fitbit, but not from you record. All you data is still available on your mobile app and Web interface. After you factor reset and then reset up the device again (just like you did when it was new) your data will be available.
