My Fitbit Versa is displaying the wrong time, it's working correctly in every other way, it's counting my steps, sleep, I'm getting notifications. I've tried restarting the watch 3 times. It seems to be syncing, what do I need to do? Has anyone else had the same issue?
Thanks in anticipation,
Cx

It depends what country you are in. I have had my versa since they were first released in 2018 and have since had 4 replacements, the last of which they tried to refuse me until I pointed out the trade laws in the uk and then suddenly I was told that there is a 2 year warranty in the uk. This I found very unplayable as you have to enter your country of residence before you get through to a customer service rep. Please also remember that in the uk an item must be expected to last a reasonable amount of time and not break within 6 months!! My latest has lasted 4 months so far and I have now got an android phone so hopefully if not I shall demand a full refund!!

Mine is full by 40 minutes or so... frustrating.

The time on the face of the watch is synced to your Fitbit App on your phone. If you have not used your app in a while, it signs you off and then your watch will not keep the time updated. LogIn to your App on your phone and it will automatically start the syncing process. It takes a couple of minutes; when it hits 100%, your watch will display the correct time.

Which means the Fitbit cannot be relied upon to provide the correct time. As I pointed out long ago, watches have been able to do that for hundreds of years, yet my Fitbit requires another piece of equipment to work! Don't tell me engineers can't figure out a workaround to that. (I don't mean you, Molly, but the collective "them.")

Hi. I tried restarting Fitbit etc, changing clock face etc - wouldn’t work. Then I turned the Bluetooth off on my phone and back on again and that sorted it out 😊 hopefully it will work for you 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

I've had this issue for a few weeks. For me the fix was as simple as changing the time zone to another one with the same time, syncing and then selecting my correct time zone and syncing again.

I have had this issue too. What has worked for me when forgetting device in bluetooth/resetting fitbit/deleting app etc. doesn't work is resetting the internet connection. If you go to your fitbit device within the app and click 'wifi' and then connect it to your network or a new network that helps. It won't work for me with a data connection/syncing to phone/pairing... for me it had to do with wifi. Weird that it won't automatically adjust to the time displayed on your phone when it's paired...

I fixed it by turning off the Bluetooth on my phone , and turning it back on again. Next, go to fitbit app and sync again. Done.
