Hi @Harrymeredith1 - before doing anything else go to the Fitbit App Gallery tile an make a note of the names of any clock faces or apps you have installed.
Sometimes the update fails and a bug in the factory reset can also render the watch useless.
Probably best to chat via the Fitbit App, click profile photo, Help & Support, Contact Customer Support.
If your watch needs replacing the Versa 2 is a good compatible candidate and not too expensive.

Same thing has happened to me (about a month ago) after a forced firmware update. Cannot get Fitbit Versa to go beyond logo and have been using the same watch/watch face for year. App cannot communicate with the watch while in this restart loop so cannot restart that way. I should not be forced to a new product because of a faulty update. Frustrating!!! …every found post states a bypass (not a solution) to this problem. My watch was a gift from my son -FitBit should fix the problem or replace (at no charge) without loss of any prior data/history.
HELP!!!!
