The last couple of days my versa face is fading out. It looks as if it could be water damage but it doesn’t go near water and it is also meant to be waterproof. For a second the face is normal and then appears as if there is a bright white circle in the middle of the face.
just wondering if anyone else has had this problem.

Hi there @Kcalrn, welcome on board. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa is having issues with the screen and battery. Thanks for the details provided in your post, I'll be glad to help you.
Regarding the battery short life, I suggest taking a look at this help article: Can I extend my Fitbit device's battery life?
However, as per the description or your post, it seems that your Versa is not having a sufficient power source when you charge it. Where do you charge it? Have you checked if the USB port or outlet is faulty? If you haven't done so, try a different port. A UL-certified wall charger will also work, please don't use a USB hub. For best results, don’t leave your device plugged in on the charger longer than overnight.
About the screen, please confirm that you've followed the steps below:
If the suggestions don't work and your watch doesn't vibrate when you connect it to the charger, try these recommendations:

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @janlouise.
I am sorry to hear about the issue you're experiencing with your Versa screen. I appreciate the additional details, thank you for trying to resolve this and I am here to help. I understand your concern and would like to confirm that Fitbit Versa is swimproof in a lake, pool, or ocean (up to 50 meters).
I recommend restarting your watch by following the steps from this help article: How do I restart my Fitbit device?
Please also try switching to a Fitbit clock face if you're using a third party clock face: How do I change the clock face on my Fitbit device?
Let me know how it goes, I'll be around.

Hi I am also having this problem. My Versa is just over a year old. Prior to this I had a Blaze and never had an issue with it. I also notice the battery doesn’t hold a charge for as long as it previously did.
