As a software product manager, I am fully aware of how coding updates can cause bugs (issues where software will not work) that affect the functionality of the firmware.
After having issues of my own with two devices and reading over other customer issues within your chat board, with varying devices, I am fairly confident that there has to be an issue with your firmware which will not allow Versa devices to be set up properly.
As I would like to keep my Versa device, can you work with your development team to determine if there is a bug and when it is likely to be fixed.
Could you let me know when this issue has been resolved and I will attempt to sync and update my versa at that time. Thanks!

This would be a question to ask Fitbit @CR_Johnson. currently you are in the community of Fitbit users helping Fitbit users.
If you would like help with your issue we would need to know at what step of the setup process the failure occurs and what device is being used to do the setup with.
Thanks

The device was able to locate my phone (Galaxy S7, android version 8.0.0). However, when I got to the step to connect to wi-fi. The fitbit application was not able to locate any wi-fi devices, even when my phone itself was connected. I tried this using two different wi-fi devices with no luck. Additionally, I attempted to manually connect to wi-fi using the network name and password and again failed.
I also attempted to update and connect via bluetooth and was not able to do so.
Additionally, with the first Versa device that I tried, I am no longer able to connect to any other bluetooth devices (wireless speakers, car, etc.). I even disconnected and turned off the device and still had no luck.
I've tried all of the troubleshooting steps with both a representative and on my own and have tried with a second versa device and still had no luck.
What is interesting is that I had no issues with the fitbit application and charge HR 2. I was also able to connect to this device, my phone, car and any other bluetooth devices. This leads me to believe that it has to be an issue with the versa and application.
Let me know if you need additional information on my issues and I'll be more than happy to provide details.

Now I'm confused the Charge 2, there is no Charge HR 2 model, does not have WiFi or 8s able to connect to any Bluetooth device other than a phone.. There also would be no reason to connect it to a radio.

The charge 2 would still sync with my fitbit application. The Versa will not.
Additionally, I had a smart watch (ZTE quartz) which had both wi-fi and bluetooth and I had no issues connected it nor connecting to my car radio simultaneously.
After turning off the versa device, I was able to pair with a bluetooth speaker and my car radio, which still leads me back to there is an issue with the versa device and/or fitbit application.
Provided the steps of which I had issues and troubleshooting steps I have taken, is there anything that can be done code-wise to determine where the issue resides?

So let's see @CR_Johnson
You turn off the Versa and this disconnects eh versa from the cars radio. Now that there isn't any Bluetooth device connected to the radio some device you say you at now able to pair to the radio.

By turning off the Versa, there appears to be no interference from the device preventing me from connecting to any other bluetooth capable devices (my car radio or wireless speaker).

Yes that is because the radio is only able to connect to one device at a time. You could also simply turn of the Bluetooth on the versa.
Im confused because you say you can attach the Charge 2 to your radio. This should be impossible, since the Charge 2 does not have any command to attach it to anything.

You are correct, the Charge 2 cannot connect to my radio as it has no capability to do so.
However, what I am saying is that I am able to connect another smart watch (ZTE quartz) to my phone via bluetooth and my car radio simultaneously such that both function in the presence of my phone.
I am having trouble with understanding your proposed solution for two reasons:
The issue of pairing my phone to my car when paired to the versa is secondary. I would simply like to be able to connect via wi-fi and set up my device first. Once that is resolved, then I'd like to understand why I cannot pair my phone with the versa and car radio simultaneously as I am with other devices such as a smart watch.

I never said to unpair.
What I said is to turn the Bluetooth off on the versa. Or make sure the other device links up first.
A Bluetooth receiver is usually designed to only connect up to one device at a time. Once there is a Bluetooth connection made another device will not be able to interrupt.
With the WiFi. Is the tracker plugged in and charging?
Does the tracker find the wanted, or any WiFi and passes the info on yo tgefotbot app?

The tracker was plugged in a charging all the times I attempted to connect to the wi-fi. I attempted this using 2 different networks. I also attempted to connect to wi-fi manually by entering the network name and password to no avail.
Regarding the blue tooth, it is turned off such that no music connection can be connected while I am in my car. To my understanding this is as far as you can turn off the blue tooth connection on the versa.

I assume that you have checked to see if your Versa is compatible with your WiFi?

.....I have.
The Wi-fi that I am attempting to connect to is a viewable 2.4GHz WPA-2 personal (home) network.
I am able to connect both my phone and laptop to this network.
I believe this is a suitable network to connect to. Is this correct?

That is what my versa lite is hooked up to.
