Versa getting multiple notifications for 1 message.

I’ve posted about this before, but no solution has been found so far. My Fitbit versa receives anywhere from 2-5 notifications for one text message or Snapchat notification sent to my phone. To reword, I get one text to my phone and my versa will vibrate 2-5 times and show that message 2-5 times in my cache. I have tried all suggested fixes, including a factory reset. I have had this issue for easily 6 months. Any suggestions?

I have been having this same problem, and it causes my battery to die faster

Sorry to hear that you are getting several notifications on your Versa. As @MarcoGFitbit  explained this issue is being investigated by our team but you can try refreshing the link between your phone and your Versa by  going to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there. Restart your phone and restart your device. Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and the privacy settings of the phone itself.

I have the same issue except while on a facetime call that started 35 minutes ago, my fitbit has vibrated 24 times saying that I'm in an active facetime call and I am highly annoyed. Starting a couple of weeks ago, it has done it every time I'm in a facetime call, regardless of how long or with whom (obviously the shorter the call the fewer notifications). Since typing this message, I have gotten 5 more notifications that I am in an active facetime call.

I have tried resetting my fitbit, my phone, disconnecting the bluetooth, and removing the fitbit app and reinstalling it.

Seriously considering getting rid of my fitbit versa.
