Versa heart rate not working

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hi, I’ve just noticed that my Versa isn’t recording my heart rate at all. I’ve tried switching it on and off in the settings and I’ve also tried a hard reset and also a factory reset. Nothing worked. Green light is on. Can someone help? Thanks.

@Criz welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm happy to assist you with your Fitbit Versa since it stopped tracking your heart rate. By the way, thank you for troubleshooting this issue before contacting our forums.

I'd like you to try the troubleshooting tips that are listed in this help article. This article contains steps that you tried already but you can skip them and proceed with the rest. After this, monitor your Versa and see if it tracks your heart rate again.

Keep me posted on the outcome! Smiley Happy

My Hear Rate stopped working mid-cycling ride on Sunday. I confirmed with tech support today that it in fact does not work. This was exactly 13 months from the date of purchase. The tech support was very nice but offered me only 25% off a new one. I escalated later to get 50% off. I have been with fitbit almost from day 1 and between my wife and I have purchased 7 or 8 fitbits over the years. They know the HRM breaks, and they basically don't care. Time to move on to Garmin, which is something I really never wanted to do.

Oh waw! Funny enough, I’ve had mine just a little over 13 months. Just typical for it to stop working outside the 1 year warranty...makes you wonder! I’m extremely upset about this.

I’ve done everything on that list quite a few times yesterday and again today and it still doesn’t work. I must admit that this has been quite frustrating as I make it my duty to take good care of my Versa. Now the heart rate monitor is malfunctioning. Sadly this situation has slightly put me off from trying anymore Fitbit products.

I have had multiple fitbits going back to the original clip on one. They have all broken in one way or another but Fitbit has always been great about replacing the unit or band. Maybe now they have gotten too big to provide the same level of customer satisfaction. This is a company I have loved and pitched to friends for years. This honestly makes me more sad than angry.
