Versa heart rate sensor not working properly

Hello group...received new fitbit Versa yesterday. Set-up went well however it appears that the BPM Sensor is not working properly. On my wrist it doesn’t register...the band is tight so i feel the sendor is on my skin. When i remove it from my wrist and place a finger on the sensor it will turn green intermitantly. Is anyone else experiencing this problem. I have had the “Charge” for a few years and have not experienced this problem. Any ideas?

I have done all of the above, but the green light sensor doesn't come on and hr monitor still not working.

You probably have the band on too tight. It should be looser. Not to loose but loose  enough to register to bpm.

My heart rate monitor has also stopped working I have tried every fix with absolutely no luck at all, including resetting the versa 2 to the original factory settings. The heart then worked for less than a minute and stopped again. First it was the microphone that still doesn't work and now it's the heart rate monitor such a shame but now this is nothing more than a watch. I used to love my fitbit but not anymore.

Just a follow up to my last post. The Versa 2 doesn't track my sleep either so none of the sensors work.

They need to make it right with you. Maybe you can talk to customer
service. They will accommodate certain situations. Yours sounds like one of
them.

My first one was a month old and it stopped working. Tried to reset and did what they recommend. Nothing, got a new sensor yesterday, lasted 1/2 a day 🤣 Sent fitbit an e mail. This is ridiculous!

Going to get an Apple Watch.

It was the clock face that was not good

For anybody that may still be having this issue and nothing on this thread worked. Please try cleaning the sensors FIRST. What I have noticed with my job is that my sensors will get covered with anything from dead, shedding skin to dirt and debris from everything going on around me. Sometimes this will work first try, other times I will have to clean it with a cleaning cloth or even some alcohol wipes. But I was looking into this kind of thread today because my sensor has been on and off with working all week and it gets frustrating. So, if anybody has any idea on a way to help combat this issues, I am more than glad to hear it!

They sent me a new one.
Apparently it had to go with the clock face I was using

My lights do not flash and I've tried everything I can find in the forums, restarting, turning on heart rate, cleaning... Still no flashing lights or heart rate. Who should I contact, or what can I do now? My Versa is barely a year old.

I wish mine would work when doing that but it doesn’t.. heart rate only works when I put my finger on it stops as soon as I place it on my wrist

I had to use alcohol wipes to clean the sensor. I found that wearing it too
tight or not wiping it at least once a day made the sensor mess up. Afting
the cleanings, it always worked better than ever before!

I tried all these steps but my fitbit versa 2 does not track heart rate and I noticed that the laser/light that tracks the heart rate does not light up
