Hi, just to be sure.

If you swipe up [you get inti the Today app] do you see steps and heart rate there?

You could try this procedure, if the lights on the back are still flashing [meaning its trying to detect heart rate]

Logout of Fitbit app [click profile photo, top left, scroll to bottom]
Shut down watch [ Swipe left, Settings, at the bottom, About, at the bottom,Shutdown]
Reboot phone
Start watch [Hold right bottom button for a few seconds only till it vibrates and wait for Logo and clock to appear] or

[Hold left button for a few seconds only till it vibrates and wait for Logo and clock to appear]

Mine doesn't either. I noticed it stoped reading my heart rate after swimming in a pool.

@Carolunchi  - if your watch is working except for heart rate, check in the watch Settings that heart rate has not accidentally been turned off.

If it is turned on and no lights are flashing there may be another issue.

Check for water damage, condensation droplets in the little windows on the back of the watch using a magnifying glass.

If detected, do not charge, but allow the watch to dry for several days, even a week before attempting to charge. It may recover.

If no water damage, restart the watch, via Settings, About, Shutdown, wait 10 seconds and then charge to restart it.

Hello, my watch was doing the same so I restarted my watch until it worked. Is the green light flashing on the back? Mine wasn’t flashing so I just kept restarting it until it did, it was about 3 times. Just hold the power button until the Fitbit logo pops up
