Versa is not accurate on steps. During a car ride it is counting like 3000 steps. Can this be resolved with an update?
My charge 2 was on this area much better!!! 😞

If it is a bumpy ride it will count steps. You can use an app on your phone called DriveBit to get rid of them

I am having the same problem. I just looked at my fitbit and somehow I went from 2000 steps to 30,000 steps. According to the message boards, this is a common problem with the fitbit Versa and Fitbit has yet to respond to the problem. We are being told to keep our watches away from anything that hums, vibrates, don't ride a bike with it, don't take it in the car, etc and I think that is an unacceptable solution considering all their previous products worked fine.

I just purchased mine on Monday. I noticed that the steps seems to be off but when I was driving to work yesterday I looked down and warched my step number just go up.. it went up like a 1000 steps. The road I drive is not a bumpy one either.
It has not been resolved. I was just searching around the internet to see if anyone else’s did the same thing and found your lost. I really love the watch but am tempted to return it.

I am having this issue. My Versa logged 64000 without being on my wrist.
