I have a Huawei p20 Pro. I bought my versa about a Yr ago, first 6 months it worked well although it's never received notifications.. On the odd occasion it would. I've been in contact with fitbit help desk and after 6 months of troubleshooting they sent me a new versa. It's been about a wk and it's working, in that it's syncing but no notifications. I'm not sold that it's fixed, despite working right now. My advice is to contact fitbit, they are pretty good at communication, work with them and see what happens. If the problems arise again il be switching to a new device, the new Samsung looks promising! Right now though it's connected to my phone and all syncing has been automatic so hopefully I will have plenty more use. Good luck to everyone

Best AnswerUpdate: called support, they had me do a factory reset. Now my phone won't link to my watch at all, thus making the watch useless, as it won't even pass through the setup and work as a plain watch/tracker.
And surprise - they won't do anything about it! Now I don't even have a watch!

Best AnswerUPDATE. the new device stopped working after 2 days!! It's no longer syncing and fitbit want to help troubleshoot. I don't have the time or inclination to try again. I spent 6 months working with their service desk. Investing my time and money in a samsung device.
Best AnswerUpdate (I got my Fitbit Versa in August 2019, by end of January 2020 the Fitbit had stopped talking to my iPhone 5s). Fitbit support walked me through what I'd already done several times on advice from many people on this forum - but we should not have to do this manually all the time. It still would not work, so they have sent me a new pebble. Received this 3 days ago, and so far so good, syncing, and I'm getting notifications. But I'm not holding my breath, given what I've read here. To be fair, the Fitbit support people have been very nice, responded promptly and tried to help; but they need to fix the issue, which they clearly know is there. If it fails again, I will bin it and put it down to experience, get myself something else, some one said the Garmin one was good. Thanks to all of you who gave me advice.

Best AnswerI too have the Versa, and a Samsung 9+ ,worked fine at first then wouldn't sync I finally downloaded fitbit app on my pc and hooked the fitbit up and after a few minutes it synced, and the phone synced too ,strange right? It seems to sync better before I go to bed or when I get up.phone message still says fitbit hasn't synced since 1/26 so I don't know what's happening there. Good Luck!
Best AnswerI have a Note 8, released after you S8 which I had 9 months problem free with my versa. Until 3 weeks ago, it loses time and won't sync. Funny it finds the versa immediately but after entering the code, it just sits there. Ironically there appear to be hundreds/thousands of people posting about it not working for over a year now. I see no appropriate response from Fitbit on a fix, just the usual rhetoric, "we're working on a fix" or "try a different device". These devices are too expensive to just buy the latest. My wife's Note 8 works just fine with her Versa. I can tell you how Fitbit chose to handle, or rather not handle this, this family won't be a customer any longer.
