Hi , my Fitbit versa keeps pressing buttons with me touching the screen. It does it on the lock screen and enters numbers into the passcode and keeps locking it. I have reset it numerous times but it keeps happening . I have read that this means I’m ready for a new one but I’ve only had this one just over a year.

Hi @JessGlover1982, welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm sorry to hear that your Fitbit Versa seems to press the buttons by itself without you touching the screen. By the way, thank you for troubleshooting this issue before contacting our forums.

 

Please try cleaning around the buttons with a toothpick in order to remove any dust or moisture that may be making the buttons to be pressed. After this, try a factory reset. To do so on your device, open the Settings app > About > Factory Reset or Clear User Data. Sync your watch before this in order to avoid losing current data. Finally, monitor it and see if the issues get fixed.
