Today I looked at im eras and the screen was dark. It remained so and I knew it had been charged very recently. Just in case, I tried to charge it and it shouepwed 98%. It worked for about it ten minutes and then went dark again. It works for several minutes after being on the charger, but keeps going dark.

Hi, try restarting your Versa 4-6 times in a row by pressing and holding the left and right lower buttons together untill you see the FitBit logo and release the buttons. If that does not solve your problem, please contact Customer Support about your issue.
