Versa kept disconnecting from Bluetooth

I purchased a versa in May and had many issues with it. It kept disconnecting from Bluetooth. It didn’t let me know there was an update. It stopped monitoring my sleep, heart rate. Many emails back and forth which ended up to be cut and paste solutions in my opinion. Expensive watch to have so many issues, it also stopped vibrating. I went swimming with it and had major issues with it after that. It wouldn’t turn on, screen would randomly turn on and off with Fitbit logo showing. I also called to discuss the issues and they requested videos. I asked about a refund and I was at day 43 so I sent it all back, he did try and convince me to send a video and they would assess whether or not to replace it. I was like are you kidding me give me a refund and then if I decide to order another versa my 45 days starts over. I did get a full refund however it cost me $21 to ship it back. The band also kept popping off ( woven lavender band) just so many issues they need to resolve. With that being said I am very disappointed as I really like the versa but am very ambivalent to purchase another one.

Sorry to hear of your experience regarding the Versa, I absolutely love mine. Maybe you just got a bad unit? 

 

Good to hear you sorted it out and got your full refund though. Perhaps you will give the Versa another go sometime.

I really want to order another one but am so ambivalent about it. All the
reviews I am reading are poor. I hesitate also as I had many issues right
from placing the order to getting responses from them that didn’t default
back to take a video and send us the problem to review. Customer service
needs improvement for sure. I almost sent it back to a US company as they
gave me the wrong information to return the Fitbit. I don’t know it was the
limited edition I ordered initially

Thank you I really like the versa and want to order another one. Have you tried swimming with your versa? I did and that’s when everything started to go downhill

I am returning my second Versa tomorrow. I liked the features on the Versa but I was getting a ton of ghost steps and I mean thousands of them. I don’t think this watch was thoroughly vetted before being released. My wife has the Charge 2 and has no trouble with this watch. This said, I have decided to give the Charge 2 a try. Maybe in a year or so I might try the Versa again.
