Versa screen keeps fading in lines

Hi, only had my fitbit versa one week. the screen keeps fading in lines (top to bottom), its not syncing with my phone and the touch screen is intermittent as to whether it works. Any help please?

Have you tried restarting the tracker? 

How do I restart my Fitbit device?

Troubleshoot a problematic device by turning it off and then back on
 
If it doesn't help then I would contact Fitbit
 
It might be easier to return the Versa at the purchase of it has a problem

Thank you for replying. Yes I've reset it. Just doesn't seem as clear plus
it started fading.
I've just contacted the helpdesk but failing that I'll return it for a
replacement
