Versa lap run

I just purchased the versa and so far I like it except it doesn't have the lap run option. I upgraded from the surge and it had the option that didn't use GPS to count your laps and times while running. You would press the bottom right button and it would count the lap and give you the time. On the versa it can count the lap but the lowest option it gives you is .5 miles and you can't manually do it

@Lindsey97 Welcome to the Fitbit Community! I hope you're doing well! At this time this is lower limit but I noticed that you shared your idea in our Feature Suggestions board. The more votes an idea gets the more likely the developers will try to implement it. If any other member is interested then feel free to vote for this idea.

The swimming app is very basic. On syncing it doesn't give lap times per split. Does not work in open waters for distance. Please can't the app be upgraded to at least capture lap times

I purchased the Versa for my wife.  As distance runners, we have no use for a Lap counter.  Aside from disabling the Lap counter each time,  is there a way to disable it all together?
