Starting a few days ago, my versa light battery drains very fast. Used to last 2-3 days. Now I leave for work at 6am (100% charge) and it is completely dead (0% charge) by 4pm .No settings are changed, have had the unit 1 year, 4 months.
Best AnswerI downloaded the firmware update on Wednesday and since then my battery drains twice a day. I have to charge it halfway through the day and before I go to bed. When I wake up, it’s completely dead. I contacted support and went through everything with them. I turned off syncing, Bluetooth, uninstalled the app, reinstalled the app. I rebooted. I dimmed the display. Turned off everything in the background. Nothing works. They basically told me it’s out of the warranty period and I need to buy a new one. They offered a 35% discount, but it is ridiculous that it was perfectly fine before the firmware update. I honestly think they are forcing older model users to upgrade by rolling out an update that ruins the battery life.
I’m not happy.
Came here to look for something just like this. Started 3 days ago and it drains from 100% to 0 in about 6 hours. Clearly, all of these devices didn't suddenly have the exact same HW issue with a battery. Add in the totally off HR tracking for the last 2 weeks and it looks like this is my last Fitbit.
