Versa lite keeps getting "no GPS signal" when starting an exercise

Hi, I posted about this topic about 2 weeks ago,  if even that. I can't find a similar topic so I thought I'd try again. I'm using a Samsung phone.

It has been showing me my routes when I bike,  now it kicks in about an hour into my ride giving a not very accurate map on the fitbit app of my route. Sometimes it's just a line.

I have been having issues for over a month with "no gps signal " on my fitbit versa lite when I start an exercise.

Outdoor biking. Walking.

It connects when I am inside. If I am on a bike ride, it will sometimes activate after I have been riding an hour.

I did a factory reset, several times.

I have tried everything they suggest online. Is there anything I am missing? This happened one other time and I was able to get it working.  I feel like there is something simple I'm missing.

Do you have anything I could try?

@MarkMM I have been trying out Smart Health for my bike rides the past couple of days. It does a 1, 2, 3 countdown before it starts. I picked up my phone the first day to be sure it was working. It said workout paused, once I put it back in my backpack it would say  workout resumed. Nice feature. I noticed that the miles and maps are more accurate. Fitbit's maps are a little better but the miles are not accurate. Ome of my routes is shorter and I do know how many miles that is, it still isn't even close to what it should be.

Thanks for telling me about Samsung Health. It's nice to get the correct miles!

@TJoanna You're welcome. Glad to help. I use both every ride.
