Hi guys my versa lite loses time through out the day. I make sure it has synced but the time won't update. It is still paired via Bluetooth. Any ideas?

Hi @Joannamarie2015 - if your watch loses minutes [not seconds] during the day then it is faulty and it is also not syncing properly, as a sync should reset the time correctly.

To try and get the syncing working properly adopt this procedure and make sure that the Fitbit App is allowed to run in background on the phone.

Logout of the Fitbit App and swipe off the active window and in Android clear the storage cache and force stop it and then restart the phone.

Make sure there are no other devices running the Fitbit App switched on.

Restart the watch by holding the button for 10 seconds till it vibrates and the logo appears and wait for it to start.

Login and wait for any pair, link or Fixit prompts and sync.

You also also be able to force a time sync in the Fitbit App, click App settings and toggle off/on automatic time zone, and sync, also with it off try a different time zone and sync before going back to right one.

Hi Guy,

Thanks for the response. I have done as you advised but the watch is still losing time. The watch I have is a replacement for a faulty watch I originally purchased so I am unsure if fitbit will replace this one.
