Versa lite not receiving text notifications

I have just got my Versa lite. 
All my notifications are turned in, I am receiving notifications when I receive a call but not text messages. Anyone else experienced this or know how to fix it ?

iPhone 8 Plus, I get notifications for what’s app etc but not actual texts?

For Apple phones, their recent update caused the problem and Fitbit techs are working on a solution.

My fitbit stopped getting notifications a couple of weeks ago. I have been unable to get them to start again. I've googled and did all the things i've found, but still nothing. I will NEVER buy another fitbit! this isn't the first time i've had issues with notifications. I need something more reliable for my job and this Versa Lite is not cutting it. I have a Note 10 plus phone and until I can get another smart watch i need notifications to work!.

mxross, Your phone is not on the Approved Devices list so may work for some functions and not others.

It was working but stopped. I guess i'll be looking for another brand of fitness/smart phone. Thank you.

I previously had the Fitbit charge 2 and it worked with my phone?

Give up. I have tried everything suggested and nothing has worked. Got mine around Christmas time and have never been able to receive a text from my iphone 7plus. I get notifications just not texts. In my opinion, I think apple has done something to block so they can get you to buy an apple watch.

I had a Fitbit Flex and it stopped receiving texts, so I thought it was just old and needed to be replaced. That's why I bought the Versa Lite. Now I wonder if the issue with the Flex was just the Apple block and nothing was wrong with it.
