Versa lite - quick reply is not an option. Using an Android LG G4

I can view my texts/messages on my versa lite, but I've never seen the option to reply. I went to the fitbit app on my phone and turned on notifications and selected the apps I have that I would like to see notifications from. I clicked on quick replies, selected my texting app, and then customized the messages I would like to have as a quick reply.
I'm curious, I went to https://www.fitbit.com/devices# to check to see if my phone was compatible with fitbit, which I thought it must be, since I've been using it for a while and except for the quick reply feature, everything else is fine. When I typed in LG G4, the website said the device was not found...
Any thoughts?

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @AmberMei.

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and sharing your concern regarding the quick replies feature for your Fitbit Versa Lite. Thank you for your efforts to resolve the issue and sharing that you're using an Android LG G4 phone and can view your texts and messages on your watch. While your phone is not a supported device for the Fitbit app at this moment, it doesn't mean that it won't work with the app entirely, but rather that some of its functions might work intermittently.

The quick replies feature is currently available on devices paired to an Android phone (7.0+).  I recommend checking the following help article where you can confirm the steps to setup and use quick replies: How do I respond to messages with my Fitbit device?

I'll be around if you need further assistance.

Thank you so much!

My phone only has Android 6 and I don't see any updates available. At least now I know why the feature didn't work.

Thanks for the help!

Hi LiliyaFitbit, I have 2 other questions:

You said my "phone is not a supported device for the Fitbit app at this moment" - does that mean it might be later?

My second question is probably kind of silly, but is there any way that the quick replies could be made to be compatible with Android 6? It would be really snazzy if that feature could work with older android systems.

Thank you!
