Versa lite trouble keeping connected by Bluetooth

Hi I bought a Fitbit Versa Lite on 28.9.19 and I've been having trouble keeping the bloody thing connected by Bluetooth and syncing with my device(huawei p20 pro) ... I've deleted and reinstalled the app, deleted and readded on Bluetooth, short of throwing it out the window I'm starting to get really annoyed I paid £140 for it and it's turning out to be a waste of money, any help would be much appreciated, thank you 😊

@KellyLucky It's because Huawei loves to agressively manage battery killing off everything in the background. Please refer to this article on how to make it work.
