Versa lite won’t sync

I have just purchased this, downloaded the Fitbit app ... got the code etc but when I go to update while it’s on the charger etc ... it won’t sync due to it not pairing with my iPhone 6s 

the thing is it was pairing in the beginning. Beats me!!

im ready to throw it grrrrr

has anyone else had this problem?

ive restarted my phone .... pushed the button on the watch to restart etc 

sny help would be appreciated

@Lizbuchan Try the following:

 

1. Remove Versa from your paired devices list in your iphone's bluetooth settings

2. Uninstall fitbit app

3. reboot phone and Versa

4. Install Fitbit app, log in and grant all permissions that the app requests

5. Sync

I have done all the above .. a couple of times 😉
It appears to me that the actual Fitbit is not charging on the dock. I have lined it up with the prongs but it won’t even tell me how much charge is on it
Just looks like a blue line about a quarter way over the screen .. can’t even tap it or swipe to get the amount of charge.
I’ve tried it on several adapters

I’ve tried this ... a few times🤨

i don’t think the Fitbit is charging on the dock but it won’t tell me anything when I swipe or tap the screen. Just had a blue line about quarter way over the screen!

@Lizbuchan Can you please take a picture of your Versa with the blue line? Could it be that it's updating? What's the firmware version you're running - open settings app on your Versa Lite, scroll down to About and look for Version number.

Hi there

in the last couple of days Fitbit on Facebook have got me to do a factory reset ... wahla my iPhone has synced the watch & Bluetooth has picked it up ... however now I have a watch that is working behind the face .. on my iPhone but it has a face that says Reset failed as per photo 

I’m nearly ready to chuck it out the window 🤨

@Lizbuchan Ughh indeed. Does it respond at all when you tap 'okay'? Does it show the clockface and are you able to open the Settings app on your Versa? 😞

No unfortunately it doesn’t respond when I tap OK 

So can’t do anything on the actual watch but can do everything on the phone app 🤔

@Lizbuchan I think it's really stuck and needs to be sent back to Fitbit. If you cannot factory reset it, there's not much else you can do. I wish I could be more helpful. 😞
