Had to get new versa lite, tried to add it to my tablet. When I select from the list of trackers then hit set up at bottom it goes back to add device screen. Have tried and searched everything help

This could be down to a number of things. Have a look at fitbit's troubleshooting guide for set up issues. Hopefully the answer is in there:
