Versa misses steps

My versa will miss steps when I'm wearing it and then all of a sudden start working again.

Having same problems for the last few days. Been using iPhone 8 with iOS 12.3.2

i know it is syncing to my phone as it gives the correct total steps, floors and active minutes. However it is not syncing the active steps per hour. 

Have tried disconnecting versa, make sure no other device on Bluetooth, turning off blue tooth, turning off WiFi, turning off iPhone but all did not work. It even missed 4 hours of active steps yesterday but is working fine today.

@Frank52 are you having the same issue of the step count seeming to be pausing while viewing the ionic? This has nothing to do with the Fitbit app are the active hours displayed in the Versa or the app. 

@JDToo I'm not exactly sure what your referring to, but Fitbit trackers will not start adding steps until at least 5 steps have been counted after a period of rest. It then does as the 5 steps. 

Also the tracker can track steps faster then the display can be updated therefore it is not unuasial to see the numbers increasing for a few seconds after the wearer stops walking.
