If you open your phone app you can change your clock face to one that has
stairs climbed on it.

My fit bit versa 2 was accurately counting steps when coming up the stairs. Yesterday it was missing some , today missing all but one.  I saw a bunch of older posts. O e of the reasons I bought this fit it was because that was a difference between another one for less money.

Hello!  I am having the same issue with my Versa2 not tracking floors and restarted my FitBit Versa 2 as instructed.  I also performed the accuracy test you suggested and still didn't have any steps recorded.  We have steps in our home (18 of them) and it is over 13 feet at least from bottom step to top - not recording anything.  Can you please help me get this issue fixed?

Dear EmilyK016,

Hello! Sorry for your bother. I just gave up caring about flights of stairs after a few years of my current and previous Fitbits being undependable.  I am simply a Fitbitter like you. I am not employed by Fitbit, so have no new magic remedies to offer, alas.  Very best wishes to you this holiday season, and Merry Christmas if you celebrate it.

Hey boo. Call fitbit. They'll most likely send you a new one. The only
other way is to delete whatever you downloaded on the fitbit and set a
normal clock. Somehow it resets the fitbit back to order.

Mine isn't working still. The other day it was saying I was doing 50 floors and now it's suddenly not working. I didn't do 50 floors.

I have completed the test and still nothing

I gave up on that function.

I believe it has something to do with the pressure of the height you're at
when climbing stairs.

I recieved my fit bit versa for Christmas and it has not counted one single floor since. I have just came back from holiday and the floors I walked daily was ridiculous. I am really disappointed they never counted. Tried restarting it several times but still nothing. Really wanr to solve this problem. As I'm a fit bit addict now for 4 years.

Actually, sometimes – now more often it counts the floors. I don’t know what the difference is. So, when I am doing it for exercise go down my basement steps and try to walk a few steps away before going up again and the same at the top of the stairs. I am not sure if this is what is making the difference or not.

I routinely climb 3 flights of stairs  of 48 steps in total, my Fitbit Versa doesn’t count the floors at all.

My flights of steps stopped counting 2 weeks ago as long as with my active minutes. I haven’t done anything different. I dont Understand why these two functions have stopped. I love My fitbit but I also want it to work properly. I have restarted several times and still nothing. Please help.

My Versa 2 is also not counting floors, I work in an 11 story building and still show 0 flights when I go up several floors at a time.

We live in a three story house, each 15 steps, 12 foot ceilings.  The Versa II has never recognized steps,  How can I get it to read my stairs.

You can't. It works on air pressure.
I have the same problem when I go to the basement. Floor counts get all
goofed up.

I’ve had my versa for about 6 months, updating from a charge2. The day I swapped to versa was the day my floors stopped being counted. According to my fitbit I haven’t climbed above 10ft since early Feb?! Not what I was expecting from a device that cost £100 more than the device I replaced
